Tottenham’s new signing Pedro Porro is set for an awkward reunion with Chelsea’s Joao Felix… after the £42m signing was forced to deny he’d had an AFFAIR with ex-Atletico Madrid star’s girlfriend
Tottenham’s new signing Pedro Porro could be in for an awkward reunion with Chelsea’s Joao Felix after rumours suggested that the full-back had an affair with Felix’s girlfriend last year.
The Spaniard secured a £42million big-money move to north London after Spurs representatives held lengthy negotiations with Sporting Lisbon throughout deadline day.
And, after Felix completed a loan move to Chelsea earlier in the window, some users online were quick to point out the bizarre connection between the two new signings.

A video went viral last year showing Porro handing his shirt and hugging Corceiro in Lisbon
In May last year, Felix’s girlfriend Margarida Corceiro was forced to deny rumours that she had cheated on the Atletico Madrid star with Spanish full-back Porro.
A video went viral showing Porro celebrating after a Sporting Lisbon victory, going to the crowd and giving his shirt to Corceiro before the two exchanged a hug.
According to the Sun, another clip circulated which showed the two kissing in a nightclub – which Corceiro quickly came out to deny.
‘If I wanted to be kissing someone, in an intimate moment, it would not be in Lust, much less in the VIP area with that little balcony and in view of the entire nightclub.
‘I also don’t understand why those gentlemen who took the initiative to record that video and report it in such a nice way didn’t remember to record me talking and hugging the other people who were there, the other guys, the players.’

The Spanish full-back denied the claims at the time and said ‘no one is being unfaithful’
Porro – who had just joined Lisbon from Manchester City – also weighed in on the rumours and insisted that ‘no one is being unfaithful’.
He wrote in a statement: ‘The situation that is happening yesterday and today is very uncomfortable…
‘I have a special relationship with her, no one is being unfaithful to anyone.’
Porro had been Tottenham’s main target for the January window, but the deal had appeared to have been at risk of collapse on Monday when the Portuguese side called off negotiations – before an agreement was eventually struck.
The two players could settle their differences on the football pitch when they face eachother later this month, with Spurs set to host Chelsea on February 26th.
Felix – who played for Atletico Madrid at the time – refused to comment on the situation
Felix, who was an Atletico Madrid player at the time but has since completed a loan move to Chelsea, never commented on the situation.

Felix made his Blues debut in their trip to Craven Cottage last month and, despite showing sparks of promise, was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle.
